Description
My wife found this amazingly coloured Eucalypt leaf and I really wanted to paint it. I gather that it had been subject to some disease or pest but the result was actually quite beautiful.
I wanted to showcase the leaf as much as I could so I decided to have the background leaves in monochrome.
I went with a title that described how she found it. It was, quite literally, just lying around having fallen from the tree.
